This hotel has a stunning location and luxurious amenities that were perfect for our romantic break. Rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious, with top-notch private facilities including a powerful shower and premium teas. We enjoyed a friendly chat with other guests during breakfast, which offered a comprehensive selection of cereals and fresh fruit. the breakfast featuring local butcher's ingredients certainly exceeded expectations.
There was one minor issue with the Wi-Fi, which was not available in much of the hotel. this added to its overall charm and didn't affect our experience too much.

Spent a wonderful Christmas at this charming countryside B&B. the hosts were warm and welcoming, offering homemade cakes and tea on arrival. the spacious en-suite room had stunning views of the countryside. the breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of cooked breakfast and fresh fruit. Loved the shared dining table, and the friendly chatter from the other guests. the B&B is situated in a perfect location for walking, with recommended routes provided by the hosts.
The B&B is quite far from any restaurants or shops, so a car is definitely needed. the toilet flush was quite noisy, which was a bit inconvenient during the night.

Cozy farmhouse located in stunning Northumberland countryside with delicious breakfast and friendly hosts. The spacious lounge with a log fire is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. The farmhouse is situated in a beautiful hamlet, providing a picturesque setting for those looking for peace and quiet.
The location of the farmhouse may not be ideal for those wanting to be in the heart of a town, as it is situated down small country lanes. However, this provides a sense of seclusion and tranquility, with only the sounds of the local farms and birds to wake you up in the morning.
